My name is Alison and I am a northern MA portrait photographer. I've loved taking pictures since I took my first photography class in high school. It's always been a hobby for me even more so when I had my two boys.  After having children, I worked in education.  I am lucky enough to have combined my passions of photography and children into a career as a family photographer. Having spent many hours in the classroom with young children, I understand that they are not meant to sit for long without a break.  For this reason, I like to make sessions with young children quick and painless!  I use my teaching experience to capture those rare few moments when your child is smiling at the camera and I don't hesitate to get as many shots as possible during those minutes.  A lot  of the times my favorite pictures are the candid ones.  Your child may not be looking at the camera but may be giving a genuine smile to his brother or an inquisitive look that captures her personality. I do my best to capture both styles during the session.

Like many of us, making a decision to follow my dreams came a little later after life tossed me a few curve balls and inspired me  to finally take the chance,  Timing is everything, in life and in getting that perfect shot.
